Gateway Alliance against Human Trafficking (GHT)

Many victims of human trafficking are students in our school system, and we want to help ensure our schools can and should be a safe haven for all children. Consequently, Gateway Human Trafficking (GHT) was established to educate and inform our community about human trafficking. Our goal is to empower people through education on how to identify- and report- human trafficking to minimize victimization of vulnerable people including children.
These are just a few ways we work to help: Organizing conferences and Professional Development training for different groups including law-enforcement agencies, social workers, business leaders, and faith communities; Providing speakers; Partnering with other like-minded organizations and individuals to design and execute our projects; and More importantly Educating K-12 Educators and youth groups about human trafficking, its risk factors, and how to report it to the proper authorities to save victims' lives.
