Grape Creek Education Foundation

The Grape Creek Education Foundation is organized exclusively for the purpose of enhancing the educational environment for the students and community of the Grape Creek Independent School District.

We offer scholarships to graduating seniors for college or technical schools. We collect school supplies for students and teachers and maintain a supply for disbursement throughout the year. We provide "Just Imagine" grants up to $500 for programs that are not funded by the school budget. Past accomplishments include paying for residents GED testing, community activities like a Gardening Symposium, College Nights and Health Fairs. We sponsored the community Butterfield Overland Mail 150th Anniversary where a historical marker was placed by the high school. We sponsor an annual flea market for the community where we collect food for the local food bank "Fishes and Loaves".
