Gianna's Force of Hope

We are dedicated to creating awareness for pediatric cancer, including DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). We raise funds to help support research to fight DIPG as well as offer financial support to families whose child has been diagnosed with DIPG.

Our foundation was started to honor our daughter Gianna Hurtado, who passed away from DIPG in 2017 at just 5 years old. We incorporated the word Force in our foundation name because of her love of Star Wars, and the word Hope because we never gave up hope during her fight. All she ever wanted was to make others smile and feel good. We strive to do that through her foundation.
