This NH Gives, your donation will open doors for local New Hampshire girls to participate in our Young Women’s Leadership (YWL) Summer Program—an eight-week experience that inspires teen girls to grow into the strong, smart, and bold leaders we know they can be.
Held on the campus of Saint Anselm College, the YWL Program gives girls a glimpse of college life—many for the first time. They explore what’s possible for their futures while gaining critical leadership and life skills. From job shadowing with local professionals to visiting college campuses and connecting with female entrepreneurs, each experience is designed to build confidence and expand their sense of what’s possible.
Throughout the summer, girls dive into economic literacy, career exploration, and personal development, all while learning from guest speakers and community leaders. They begin to see themselves not just as future college students, but as changemakers in their communities.
For many of our participants, scholarships are the only way they can access this life-changing opportunity. Your gift during NH Gives will directly fund scholarships for girls across New Hampshire—giving them the chance to dream bigger, aim higher, and prepare for a brighter future.
Join us in investing in the next generation of leaders. Give between 5PM on June 10 and 5PM on June 11. Every donation helps send a girl to YWL—and one step closer to her goals.
Your contribution will ensure an experience they will never forget, and neither will you!
Girls Inc. of New Hampshire inspires all girls to be Strong (through healthy living), Smart (through education), and Bold (through independence), providing thousands of girls with life-changing experiences and solutions to the unique challenges girls face. The Girls Inc. Experience consists of people, an environment, and programming that, together, empower girls to succeed. Trained staff and volunteers build lasting, mentoring relationships in girls-only spaces that are physically and emotionally safe and where girls find a sisterhood of support with shared drive, mutual respect, and high expectations. Hands-on, research-based programs provide girls with the skills and knowledge to set goals, overcome obstacles, and improve academic performance. Informed by girls and their families, Girls Inc. also works with policymakers to advocate for legislation and initiatives that increase opportunities for girls. At Girls Inc., girls grow up healthy, educated, and independent.
