Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The mission of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation (CHPF) is to provide financial support to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, the western Pennsylvania region's only quaternary care pediatric hospital, teaching, and research facility. CHPF is the sole fundraising arm of Children's Hospital and raises charitable donations through targeted individual campaigns, special events, and foundation and corporate grants.

Unrestricted gifts, because they can be used where the need is greatest, provide Children's the greatest flexibility in helping to sustain our mission and uphold our promise to provide care to all children. Needs may include: palliative care for terminally ill patients; support for families of hospitalized children; a sudden opportunity made possible by research; and demand for expanded clinical care. When needs occur, they are both important and urgent; unrestricted funds make it possible to address issues or meet needs when they arise.
