Giving Back to the Community

Our Story

At Giving Back to the Community Inc., we believe that strong communities
are built on compassion, connection, and support. Founded in October 2022 by a
mother-daughter team, we have worked tirelessly to turn this belief into
action, providing critical resources to families in need across our region.

Since becoming a recognized nonprofit in December 2024, we have grown
from a grassroots movement into a vibrant organization with a powerful mission:
to uplift local families, support community unity, and help children thrive.
With a team of seven dedicated women committee members and an all-women board,
we are committed to making a difference—one family at a time.

Our signature initiatives, such as the Pack-a-Backpack School Supply
Drive and Brunch with Santa Christmas Toy Drive, are at the heart of our work.
To date, we have provided over 800 children with essential school supplies and
over 1,000 children with Christmas gifts—each donation helping to ensure that
no child is left behind. But this is just the beginning. We know the need is far greater than we can currently reach.

In addition to these initiatives, we proudly support the Women Are
Power program, which empowers women in our community by fostering personal
growth, building connections, and creating opportunities for leadership and
change. This program is an essential part of our mission to create a more
resilient and inclusive community.

We also host numerous free family events throughout the year, offering
opportunities for families to connect, access vital resources, and celebrate
together. These events ensure that no one in our community is left out and that
every family has the chance to thrive.
