Glam U's mission is to inspire girls to walk in their purpose. We aim to empower girls by fostering self-awareness, self-love, self-expression, and healthy relationships, preparing them to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. Our vision is to create a community where every girl feels valued, confident, and empowered to reach her full potential. We strive to inspire and nurture the next generation of leaders and change-makers. Our work is guided by our core values: growth, love, authenticity, mentorship, and unity. These values are seen in everything from our programs to our policies and procedures.

Since Summer 2023, Glam U has serviced approximately 200 girls each year through partnerships with NORD, KIPP, FirstLine Schools and other youth serving organizations. This year, we are on track to increasing our impact to over 300 girls!

Our Programs
Glam Girl Program - is a comprehensive personal development experience that focuses on mental wellness and self-expression in a safe and supportive environment. By combining open discussions, journaling, interactive activities, and modeling lessons, the program promotes self-awareness, self-love, emotional resilience, and positive self-expression. Out of 125 girls surveyed in 2024, 91% reported the Glam Girl Program as a positive experience.

Glam U Fashion Academy - is designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and self-expression through curriculum based workshops in modeling, makeup and fashion styling. In addition, youth learn from guest speakers from these creative industries.

Beauty in STEM - is a hands-on workshop series that explores the science behind beauty and self-care. Through engaging experiments, like formulating lip balms and creating face masks, participants learn how STEM plays a role in the beauty industry.
