The GSC aims to foster fulfilling relationships between members, and a connection to our local community through philanthropy & volunteerism.

Goodfellow Spouses and community fosters both social and charitable missions.

As spouses of military and DOD members, we understand the importance of building support networks with each move, and we are passionate about making friendships and support systems accessible to the Goodfellow Air Force Base community. Through a variety of monthly social events, we facilitate the formation of meaningful relationships between our members. We also help introduce them to the beauty and opportunities of San Angelo by hosting many of our events at local businesses.

As a non-profit organization, we run a monthly Charitable Grant program and an annual Scholarship program. The vast majority of the funding for these programs comes from sales at the Goodfellow Air Force Base Thrift Store. Our store is stocked thanks to material donations made by the Base community, and 100% volunteer run. If you are on Base on Tuesday from 10-12, Saturday from 10-1, or Sunday from 2-4, please come visit us behind the Powell Event Center! Our volunteers work hard to not only make our store a welcoming and affordable place to shop, but a vibrant community space for all with base access.

Jasmine C., a military spouse, utilized our scholarship program to obtain her license for personal training and nutrition. One year later, she is a NASM certified personal trainer and health coach.

Andrew J., a military dependent, utilized our scholarship program towards his first semester at Angelo State University. One year later, he is pursuing his major of History and Political Science at ASU.

AccessAbility First Foundation utilized our grant program to cover start up costs. The foundation is flourishing and continues to improve the lives of children with various disabilities and special needs from all over the country.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace utilized our grant program to build a child their very own bed. All children deserve a safe place to lay their head.

Our membership has tripled over the last year! Through our membership program, members get to be part of a community and connect with others. Through exclusive socials and volunteer events, they get to experience BEAUTIFUL San Angelo in a way they never imagined.
