Goshen witnessed five years of success,
growing so exponentially that we chose to
meet the needs of our community and buy
a building in February of 2020 before
the pandemic hit. This new space afforded
us the opportunity to expand our
programming by offering classes,
workshops, and camps to further educate,
inspire, and engage a new community of
arts enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the ongoing pandemic had forced us to continually postpone or cancel
our programming in 2020 and we came back in 2021 safely. We have tried to continue to stay active and remain as a support for so many
participants that have come to rely on Goshen as a safe place.
The motto of the Goshen Theatre Project is to Inspire, Engage and Entertain. Our mission is to supply a
total arts experience in a world where less emphasis is placed on the fine arts and their importance in
shaping well rounded individuals. GTP, through developing youth and adult talent, delivers high quality
productions to our audience community. We strive to be a supportive extended family to all who enter
our doors.
As Goshen is a non profit organization dependent on ticket sales, programming, and donations, our
budget in the best of times is
lean. We typically operate off
of an entirely dedicated
volunteer staff. We take
seriously the idea that we are
good stewards not only of our
finances, but also of the
world class undiscovered
talent you expect to see on
our stage. We are stewards of
our community offering more than 250 students and 6,000 individuals annually the opportunity to
experience and access education and live performances. But today we are being greatly challenged and
we turn to our friends, our audiences, and our supporters to stand with us.
