Igniting a Culture of Vocations

"I believe young people want to be generous with their lives and serve others in meaningful ways. They want to embrace their true vocation, but they need others to assist them in discerning, prayerfully, the purpose for which God has created them. This discernment will be our new focus going forward." - Joseph G. Hanefeldt, Bishop of Grand Island“The duty of fostering vocations rests with the entire Christian community so that the needs of the sacred ministry in the universal Church are provided for sufficiently. This duty especially binds Christian families, educators, and, in a special way, priests.” (Code of Canon Law #233)
