Granite State Adaptive

A nonprofit organization

Granite State Adaptive (GSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing adaptive sports, therapy, recreation, and training for individuals with unique needs, including those with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities, as well as at-risk youth and veterans. With a vision of creating an accessible world where communities support individuals regardless of their abilities, GSA empowers participants to develop independence, confidence, life skills, and fitness through various adaptive sports and recreational activities.

The organization serves a diverse population, including individuals who are visually impaired, blind, or hearing impaired, and conducts targeted outreach to physically and developmentally disabled youth and adults, disabled Veterans, and at-risk youth. GSA collaborates with over 20 schools, the 4-H UNH Cooperative Extension, Veteran associations, group homes, and other nonprofit organizations to reach those in need.

Through its programs, GSA provides over 1,000 opportunities each year for individuals to engage in adaptive sports and recreational activities, fostering community engagement and support. The NH Gives Campaign is an essential initiative for GSA, as it helps raise funds to sustain and expand these vital services, ensuring that everyone has the chance to reach their full potential, regardless of their abilities.
