Greater Longview United Way

Our mission is to improve the Education, Financial Stability, and Health of every person in our community. Our vision is to mobilize communities to action so all can thrive.

We fund 32 programs across 19 nonprofits in the area. Your support allows us to support impact programs in East Texas, focusing on health, education, and financial stability. We believe these are the building blocks to a strong life and community.

We launched Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to provide a hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality book monthly to children from birth to age five. We currently have 2300+ Gregg County children registered. (longviewunitedway.org/dpil)

Our Read to Succeed initiative promotes literacy so that students read on or above grade level by the end of the third grade. Additionally, this initiative seeks to increase students' love of reading and provide free access to quality reading materials through our fully-stocked book vending machines.
