Green Fields School

The mission of Green Fields School is to educate students through rigorous and nurturing programs and experiences which foster the success and well-being of each child.

Green Fields School uses proven methods of experiential, inquiry based and project based learning to encourage critical thinking, curiosity and love of learning. Students have a fully equipped, historic, 22 acre educational setting on which to play and learn which includes a library, theater, gym, playing fields, swimming pool, tennis courts, and greenhouse that was founded in 1933. Green Fields students are 100% college ready, are 100% accepted to college if they apply, and earn on average, $115,00 each in merit scholarships. Their success comes from a program staffed by compassionate teachers who vary instruction to get the best from each individual students and a program that emphasizes learning, independence, and thinking over test scores and test preparation. The needs of the whole child are met with a balance of offerings in academics, athletics, and the arts as well as attention to the emotional and social growth of every student.
