Greensburg Art Club

The mission of the Greensburg Art Club is to encourage, promote and foster an appreciation of and participation in the visual arts. To this end, GAC offers classes/workshops for all interested members of the community; 2. provides a year round venue for art exhibits and an artist market that feature regional artists and artisans; 3. and provides a retail outlet for the community to foster their love of art by being able to purchase original art and crafts.

Provide Art Instruction: We provide a series of classes and workshops in a trimester format each year that are open to members and non-members alike. Advertising of these sessions is by brochures sent to our mailing list of over 1500 and through on-line listings. Classes are taught by qualified club members artists, while workshops are presented by well established artists-instructors. Tuition is kept to a minimum averaging $5 per hour to encourage participation by novices who wish to learn how to unleash their creative energy as well as those who want to expand on their skills and move to a higher level of expertise. Current classes are listed at http://www.greensburgartcenter.org. Classes and workshops are offered for adults and for children ages 4 to 18. All teachers working with children have received background checks and most have formal art education training.
