Grimes County Animal Rescue

Grimes County Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been built and is operating a no-kill animal shelter for the rescue and placement of stray dogs and cats in Grimes County.

These animals come into our care needing love, veterinary care, and rehabilitation. These elements teach these animals that people do love and care for them. It takes a lot to get each animal happy, healthy, and into an adoptive family. Please consider donating to the cause. We would even love for you to donate your time as a volunteer or a foster! We work closely with Animal Control of Grimes County Sheriff's Office in pursuing animals in need of saving from abandonment and hoarding situations. We have a robust foster program and work closely with partner and breed specific rescues.
