NOLA Halfmoons Womxn's Rugby

The Halfmoons Rugby Club provides greater New Orleans, youth, high school, collegiate, and Senior level women the opportunity to grow and participate in all levels of rugby through education, participation, and sponsorship.

The New Orleans Womxn's Rugby Club is one of the oldest women's rugby clubs in the country and has fielded a team since 1978. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that focuses on inclusivity building our community, and growing rugby for womxn. We began hosting our celebrated Mardi Gras Tournament in 1980. We are a combination of players, both womxn from the New Orleans area and local university students. We are currently playing as Division III team in the True South Matrix and are always seeking new players, supporters, and matches.
