Healthy LifeStars

The mission of Healthy LifeStars is to motivate and educate kids to live active, healthy lives now and in the future. This is accomplished through the three fundamental elements of healthy living: goal setting, physical activity and proper nutrition.

Healthy LifeStars is a nonprofit organization committed to fighting the childhood obesity epidemic through The LifeStar ChallengeTM, an evidenced-based program that motivates and educates under-served,at-risk children to adopt simple fitness, nutrition, and goal-setting habits to live active, healthy lives today and in the future. We do this by teaching the three Healthy Life Habits:1. I Can Do It! (Setting personal health goals) 2. I'm Active! (Taking part in vigorous physical activity every day) 3. I Eat Right! (Eating the right foods in the right amounts) The proven LifeStar Challenge, targets elementary-age kids and their families, in schools and youth-serving organizations.The LifeStar Challenge has served over 30,000 kids. It's a fun program for kids and their families and it encourages kids to take personal responsibility for their health. Kids and their families share a positive and rewarding experience together as they learn about and practice living active healthy lives.
