HeartPrints Center for Early Education

Heart Prints Center for Early Education is an organization that strives for a more peaceful world by involving young children, their families and their teachers in a process of self-directed, lifelong learning which will encourage young children to think clearly and creatively, to discover cultural and aesthetic values, to respond sensitively to others, to manage conflict respectively, and to recognize they are members or the worldwide community.

We provide developmentally appropriate programs for children three to six years old. Our preschool supports young children and their families by offering an educational program that encourages them to become active participants in a community of learners and facilitates the development of a positive relationship between home and school.

Our children had fantastic years at HeartPrints. Although we are excited about starting a new chapter in our lives with elementary school, we are very sad to say goodbye to our HeartPrints "family". Upon moving to Wexford, PA, I immediately started scoping out preschools. After looking at a lot of them and not feeling "right" about them, a friend of mine suggested HeartPrints Center for Early Education. After touring the school and talking to the administrators, I knew it was the perfect school for us. Fast forward many years now and 2 kids later, we had an amazing preschool experience. The weekly inquiry based curriculum, super science and math projects, extensive art exploration, the outdoor discovery gardens and the optional lunch bunch were all life learning factors in my children's development. The close friendships we both made while at HeartPrints will last a lifetime as well. Maybe it's better to say "we'll see our HeartPrints family later", rather than goodbye! I would whole-heartedly recommend HeartPrints Center for Early Education to anyone looking for a preschool in the Wexford/Cranberry area.

Play is an important part of the day at HeartPrints, and it's magical. There's an energy in the classroom, you can almost hear these young minds working through problems, making discoveries, creating brilliant games and crafting imaginative stories and "worlds" of their own. The materials and child-centric space seems the perfect backdrop for this. Even when the teachers get involved to guide the lessons, they skillfully allow the children's imaginations to lead the way. At HeartPrints, my two children learned to value their own curiosity and gained confidence in their learning abilities.
