Testimonials

"I got a loan from HFL in order to consolidate my high-interest student loans. I chose HFL because of the professionalism, courteousness, and flexibility of the association. My experience at HFL was terrific. I have been a loyal and frequent customer for many years. I'd recommend others borrow from HFL because they are a great alternative to traditional loan institutions." ~ Pavel Shulikov

"I got a loan from HFL to assist me with expensive car repairs. I am a single parent, and it's a necessity that I have access to reliable transportation. I chose HFL because they seemed to be a community-based organization that offered alternative financing to individuals in my situation. There is no interest charged on the loan, which is a great benefit for those who are trying to recover from financial difficulties. My experience with HFL was very pleasant. The loan committee was interested in my well being and made the process very simple. I would recommend HFL to others because they make the loan terms very clear and include you in the decision making process. There are no hidden fees or interest charges. The HFL committee is always available to answer your questions and guide you through each step of the process." ~ Keisha Turner

"We needed a loan from HFL for a new roof on our house last summer. We both have good jobs that pay well, but because of our crushing monthly student loan payments, we were unprepared for a sudden expense of $12,000. We chose HFL because their loans are interest free. While paying over $1,000 a month to the department of education to loans that only seem to go up, the last thing we need is more interest payments! Our experience at HFL was quick and easy. They looked at the whole picture. Even though our tax return suggested we could pay for the new roof, they took into account our other debt, our commitment to our child's education (another expense), but also our willingness to make monthly payments to return their loan. We'd recommend others borrow from HFL because you can't beat interest free, and you're dealing with real people, not a bank. The people you meet with care about you, your family, and they want to help you do what's best for your situation." ~ Bryna and David Finer

"I got a loan from HFL for consolidating credit card debt, and reducing the interest I was paying on that debt, so I was able to pay it off faster, with less financial stress. I chose HFL because they were friendly and helpful, and there is no better deal than 0% interest! My experience at HFL was positive and supportive. I'd recommend others borrow from HFL because: what do you have to lose?" ~ Brad Yoder

"We got a loan from HFLA to secure the final bit of funding that we needed for coffee and espresso equipment. We chose HFL because we heard they were an amazing organization that made lending choices on character and a good business plan, not just a credit score to risk ratio. Our experience at HFL was AMAZING! They were accommodating, polite, attentive, and they truly do care about helping people. I'd recommend others borrow from HFL because they can come through for you and your business when others won't and they deserve the support!" ~ Ashley Corts and Nicholace Miller, Owners of Black Forge Coffee
