Helmet Peak Volunteer Fire Department

The Helmet Peak Volunteer Fire Department provides "Service with Dedication" to the residence of Curly Horn Ranch, Ocotillo Ranch, Wrangler Ranch, Flying Diamond Airpark and to all those visiting or passing through our area.

The Helmet Peak Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer department that provides services of EMS, Fire Protection, Wildland Urban Interface and HazMat operations. We cover a 30 square mile rural area of approximately 3000 residence and 2 large commercial complexes out of one fire station. All personnel are Arizona State and IFSAC Firefighter II certified. All personnel are medically trained and certified at the State and National level as EMT's or Paramedics. Every member of the department is dedicated to providing our customers and those visiting or passing through our area with professional, courteous care. We are solely supported by donations, grants and subscriptions. HPVFD is also certified by the Arizona Center for Fire Service Excellence to put on Firefighter I and II training academies which are done twice a year.
