Helping Hands of Yuma

Assisting our under-served Senior Community to successfully live with independence, dignity and quality of life

100% funded by private donations, and powered by thousands of hours of volunteer labor, Helping Hands of Yuma provides FREE services to the elderly to assist with independent living in their own homes. Transportation, shopping, social enrichment, advocacy, loaned medical equipment and other practical services allow aging citizens to thrive as valued members of our community. No other nonprofit provides these vital services FREE to the elderly in the Yuma community.

FREE Transportation to vital appointments including medical, dental, vision, therapy, banking and legal services.
FREE Grocery shopping services provides shopping and delivery services to elderly clients to promote independent living.
FREE Notes of encouragement and Friendly Callers provide weekly companionship and social enrichment to the home bound elderly in our community.
FREE Medical Equipment loan out program, available to anyone in our community.
FREE Essential resource list and valuable advocacy for the elderly in our community and their families. A tremendous wealth of information for caregivers and clients.
FREE holiday goodie bags and essential PPE kits delivered to home bound elderly.
