Hills & Dales

Hills & Dales is currently renovating the former administrative area of the Residential Center into a new home setting! 

In 2018, due to our extensive waiting list, we added a makeshift residential area in old office spaces which were not designed to be homelike. This allowed us to support more children, but the space is fragmented, small, and not of the quality our mission demands. Still, residential services provided by Hills & Dales are a very rare offering within the state so the increase to our capacity was critical in helping more individuals and families.

The "Elaine's Dream" home is currently unlike any of the other living spaces within the Residential Center and currently lacks sufficient natural light, space and storage for much needed personal items and therapeutic equipment. We are currently working on an extensive renovation that will allow the 8 children living in "Elaine's Dream" the opportunity to enjoy a home like all the other 51 residents at the center. 

All funds raised on Great Give Day will go toward the overall $500,000 project need! While the support and love of the children living in "Elaine's Dream" the last few years has been nothing less than wonderful, they deserve a home environment which is reflective of the quality supports they receive, and YOU can help us make this happen!
