Dear Friends in Christ,
We have always had to be creative as we minister to God's people here at Holy Family Parish, but through the past 40 years, we have always found a way to bring our parish community together to love God and each other. With the outbreak of COVID-19, we suddenly lost a lot of meeting space because of space restrictions, and we needed to find ways for our parish community to gather safely. So what did we do? We created meeting space out of our sports field, garden, and parking lot!
Our biggest problem with our new gathering space is the darkness of night -- it's hard to have a meeting when you can't see each other, or find your way back to your car afterward! So during this #iGiveCatholic Day of Giving, we ask for your help to "let our light shine before others" (Matthew 5:16) and upgrade the outdoor lighting here on our parish campus. This will involve new lights for our parish garden, new lights for the sports field, and new light poles for our parking lot, with a price tag of about $5000.
THANK YOU for your help to bring our parish community together again during these extraordinary times, and may "The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you" (Numbers 6:25) as we work together for His glory.
