Holy Name Catholic School

A nonprofit organization

Holy Name High School - A Chesterton Academy is the only Catholic high school in the Upper Peninsula. Re-founded in 2021 after being closed for 50 years, Holy Name is once again providing a high-quality faith-filled high school education.

Our mission is to prepare students to triumph over the materialism and despair that pervade our culture and to accept our Lord’s offer to have life and have it abundantly. Our goal is to help students develop the skills and character requisite for success in college and professional life, and to excel in service of family, of country, and of Christ.

Students participate in daily Mass, annual retreats, community service projects, fundraisers, and fine arts productions.

Classes include Theology, Latin, Philosophy, Literature, History, Math, Science, Drama, Choir, Carpentry, and Art. Chesterton students receive a well-rounded education using the best sources of Western Tradition. We are not only forming students intellectually, but spiritually and morally as well.

Our project for this fundraiser is to provide a special tuition assistance option to encourage enrollment growth.
