Homeless Helpers

Homeless Helpers is a working-man's ministry, providing a home-like atmosphere where they are loved, respected and taught Biblical principles.

Homeless Helpers accepts men from all walks of life - prisons, jails, the streets, as well as from other shelters and rehabilitation programs. Lives are being changed through meetings twice each week and one-on-one mentoring. The men are taking responsibility for their actions. They are realizing they are accountable to the authorities God placed over them and discovering that when they obey the law and do what is right, things work out for them. They are becoming stable in their jobs and reentering society as productive citizens. Some have saved money and purchased vehicles, others have moved on to living on their own.

Testimonials

"I was sleeping on the streets, then going to work... and back to sleep on the street. I'm so very grateful to be living in a nice house now!" Carlos
"I've never been in prison, but they wouldn't accept me at the apartments I applied to because I haven't been at my job long enough, so I was sleeping in my car when I heard about Homeless Helpers. I'm glad Pastor Mike took a chance on me and gave me a place to live." Ray
"I didn't know where I was going to go when I was being released from prison after 20 years of incarceration. My probation officer called Pastor Mike and he gave me a place to stay. Now the other men in these houses and Pastor Mike and Debbie have become part of my family. I have a nice, comfortable home and I am loved." Fred
"It was a bad time in my life. I was going through a messy divorce and didn't have any place to stay. I let my wife have the house, but I couldn't stay there any longer. Pastor Mike opened his doors to me and helped me through a bad patch of life. Now I have my own place to live, but I'll never forget what a blessing that was for me!" Ralph
