In His Hands Children's Home

The mission of In His Hands Children's Home is organized to provide children a safe environment to live, to be encouraged, to heal, to grow, to learn life skills and to for us to share the love of Jesus. Our vision is to provide a safe haven for children in need, where kids can learn life skills and about the love of Jesus Christ. We want children to go forward with an enriched life remembering that we are backing them in prayer and support.

"After adopting our daughter, Annalise, I felt like that wasn't the end. At that time, I felt like the Lord was calling us to do more with children but I was not sure in what capacity. So we started to pray. A year later, a church in Trinidad Texas voted to give us their church to use as a children's home! Throughout this process, we have witnessed the Lord work miracle after miracle for all the tasks to be completed. It has been amazing! I know the Lord is concerned about the children and wants to win the hearts of the children to Himself. But how can He do that if we don't tell them about Him? Our prayer for each child that passes through the Home is that they may come to know Christ as their personal Savior and Friend. When I was young, I thought missions were in foreign counties, but now I know my mission field is right here near my home." -Charlotte Roberts

This road has been long for our ministry, but we are finally licensed and nearing the start of a new chapter! When we were given the building, we completely finished renovations over the course of a couple years. Then we had to locate and hire a licensed administrator -which was very difficult, but God is always faithful! After hiring a licensed administrator, we went through the steps to get our license, which was finally granted!! Now, we are finalizing our contract with multiple agencies, for them to bring us children. We are ready for our first kiddos to come!!

Though the State will help with funds for the kids once in residence, it will not be sufficient to pay for all of their needs, plus all of the financial needs to keep the facility running.
