The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum

A nonprofit organization

The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum honors those who have made great contributions to the field of photography and preserves historic photographs to share with the world.

IPHF is pushing forward in new directions by building on our past. We are pushing forward with plans to expand our membership and participation worldwide. At the same time, we are committed to continuing to honor individuals by inducting them into the hall of fame, curating a collection of their works, providing education programs, and building unique photography competitions with global participation.

While having a Gallery to call home in St. Louis had many benefits, it didn’t contribute to our ability to grow globally and we chose to not renew our lease at the end of 2022. Since then, we have been focusing on more web based educational programming with lectures and workshops on Portrait, Landscape and Architectural photography and spirited discussions on topical issues like A.I. Photography with classes discounted or free for members. In the future, plans include sponsoring and co-branding new web and in person programs in diverse geographic locations suited for the topic or presenters.

IPHF also intends to initiate a new galley program as soon as feasible, starting with exhibitions of inductees’ work and current traveling shows. The Board of Directors is committed to Honoring individuals of note who’ve made significant contributions to the art, science, and craft of photography and have leveraged the medium for betterment of humanity and the world as a whole. For the interim we are housing the offices of IPHF and preserving its collection in a secure location in St. Louis, MO.
