The mission of the J. Graham Brown School community is to foster independence, cultivate empathy, ignite innovation, and empower advocacy within a culturally responsive learning environment.

The James Graham Brown School Parent Teacher Student Association exists to support the students, teachers, and staff to make our school a better place to learn and work. The J. Graham Brown School, the Original Magnet School, is a district-wide magnet school for students who thrive in a Self-Directed Learning environment. Brown enrolls approximately 750 students in grades K through 12. Brown is recognized by the Kentucky Department of Education as having the highest academic performance level. 


The Brown PTSA did the following programs last year or help in some part of the following programs last year at Brown:
