Jefferson Council on Aging, Inc. (JCOA) empowers, guides and supports the seniors of Jefferson Parish so that they can age with dignity and independence in the place and manner of their choosing by offering services that promote independence in an equitable and nondiscriminatory fashion.

Jefferson Council on Aging empowers, guides and supports seniors so that they can age with dignity while living independently in their own homes. The services and programs provide seniors with the resources to live productive lives. Programs include social engagement, wellness and educational opportunities at our 9 Senior Centers, Transportation, Home Delivered and Congregate Meals, senior employment, at-home care, caregiver support, and a comprehensive resource center where needs can be matched with community resources (Aging and Disability Resource Center).
