Jermyn historical society

The Jermyn Historical Society was organized March 2, 2003.  The purpose of our organization is to preserve and maintain the history of our hometown of Jermyn Pennsylvania and nearby communities.     The Society has purchased and is refurbishing the building at 708-710 Madison Avenue, Jermyn.  The building was built as the Welsh Congregational Church in 1884, thereafter used for other purposes. We are restoring it to its original beauty while updating for usage as a historical  museum - educational center and public gatherings.
