This year, our Give For Good campaign will benefit the JFCS Sonny & Janet Meyer Food Pantry. The JFCS Sonny & Janet Meyer Food Pantry distributed more than 74,000 pounds of food last fiscal year. That represents a 50% increase in pounds of food given out in the past two years! With your financial support of the pantry, JFCS will continue to provide food and essential personal care items for Louisvillians. 

Through our partnership with Dare to Care and with assistance from our dedicated staff and volunteers, we are able to provide a variety of shelf-stable food items, as well as fresh produce and household items. To accommodate the dietary needs of our community, we regularly stock the JFCS Sonny & Janet Meyer Food Pantry with sugar-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, low-sodium, Halal, and Kosher foods. Thanks to our partnership with Dare to Care and others, we are able to purchase food at a discounted rate and make your donation go further!

$100 provides household items and cleaning supplies to families!
$250 provides food for a family of four for an ENTIRE month!
$1500 provides food for a family of four for SIX months!

We believe everyone should have the right to nourishment. We also believe that food should be enjoyable and bring people together. That is why our Sonny and Janet Meyer Food Pantry is a choose pantry, allowing clients to select what they will eat and what their family will enjoy.
