JFilm: The Pittsburgh Jewish Film Forum

JFilm presents independent films from around the world to deepen both Jewish and general audiences' understanding of Jewish culture, tolerance, and our common humanity. JFilm offerings attract those interested in international, independent and/or Jewish-themed films. A broad range of programming is designed to reach people of all races, religions, ages and abilities, and emphasis is placed on collaboration with other organizations.

JFilm offers numerous film programs throughout the year including the JFilm Festival, ReelAbilities Film Festival, Teen Screen, Robinson International Short Film Competition, and as of July 2016, the Three Rivers Film Festival. Award-winning foreign and independent films, both narrative and documentary, are screened at numerous venues throughout the region. JFilm strives to present films that attract patrons of all races and religions in hopes of encouraging cultural diversity and tolerance in Pittsburgh. In addition, JFilm hosts filmmakers from around the world to speak with audiences as well as meet with student filmmakers at local universities.
