Junior League of New Orleans

A nonprofit organization

The Junior League of New Orleans is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training.

WOMEN LEADING FOR A GREATER NEW ORLEANS

For over 100 years, the Junior League of New Orleans has trained women leaders to understand the community's needs, envision ways to better others' lives, and bring forth change. Because of what our members learn, New Orleans has more women founding organizations and businesses, more leaders serving on boards, more volunteers giving their time, and more donors valuing causes through financial support. Your donation - no matter the size - would enable us to provide more education and resources for women and families in Metropolitan New Orleans.

The positive change that has occurred in our region is immeasurable because people like you invested in our work. Your support over the years has enabled us to build resources such as The Parenting Center, the Louisiana Children's Museum, the Preservation Resource Center and our award-winning Get on Board training program.

Today, our JLNO Diaper Bank is one of the most visionary programs in our history. Programs like JLNO Diaper Bank, the Woman Entrepreneur Fellowship, and our Junior League Scholarship Fund (supporting non-traditional female students), demonstrate that JLNO continues to innovate.

Testimonials

"Whether fundraising or just lending a helping hand, the Junior League has become the go-to place. We are champions of finding solutions. It is not only what they teach, but how they teach, with honesty and a sense of high moral standards." - Peggy LeCorgne Laborde, Sustaining member

"I was so worried about where I was going to get diapers for my baby boy today. Then a friend told me about the diaper bank. I am so very relieved. God Bless!" - JLNO Diaper Bank recipient
