At Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania, we help young people (ages 5–25) build the skills they need to thrive—whether it’s managing money, preparing for careers, or turning ambition into action. Today's young people are driven, talented, and highly motivated. But here’s the reality: today’s young people face more obstacles to success than ever before.
Did you know that less than half of high school students feel ready for college or a career? Many graduate without the skills, experience, or direction they need to confidently enter the workforce or pursue higher education. Economic mobility is harder to achieve, especially for
students from under-resourced communities, where access to career guidance and
financial education is limited.
That’s where we come in. We partner with educators, businesses, and community groups to make learning hands-on and engaging. Our
volunteers—professionals from diverse industries—bring real-world experience
into the classroom, showing students what’s possible and helping them navigate
their futures. Each year, Junior Achievement equips Delaware
County young people with the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to break
barriers and build brighter futures.
