The Katherine Dunham Dynamic Museum houses Miss Dunham's outstanding collection of symbolic and functional art, including more than 250 African and Caribbean artifacts from more than 50 countries. It also houses Miss Dunham's varied collection of books, writings, and awards.
The museum is available for tours and space rental.
The Katherine Dunham Centers, under the instruction and leadership of Ms. Ruby Streate (Artistic Director and Master Dunham Instructor who trained under Miss Dunham), also offers programming for youth, adults, seniors, and professional dancers via the annual International Dunham Technique Seminar and the Children's Workshop.
The International Dunham Technique Seminar exposes dancers, drummers, and artists from around the world to the unique experience of the Dunham Technique. The seminar also trains professional dancers and helps them prepare for certification in the Dunham Technique.
The Katherine Dunham Children's Workshop is an after-school program where youth train in ballet, modern dance, percussion; and marshal arts. During the summer months of June, July, and August the Children's Workshop conducts a Summer Camp Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition to dance, students learn anatomy, cultural arts, crafts, and go on field trips. Students may also participate in the Annual International Katherine Dunham Technique Seminar, as well as perform at other public events.
Funding for these programs is primarily supported through grants, sponsorships, and individual donors.

The Children's Workshop has performed across the United States in New York, Las Vegas, Rockford, Washington, D.C. and other major cities as well as in Europe to perform in France.
