Keep Covington Beautiful

Keep Covington Beautiful (KCB) is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization dedicated to the beautification of the City of Covington. By developing broad-based community partnerships, KCB encourages all citizens to take greater responsibility for improving the community through positive behavior. KCB's projects focus on beautification, litter prevention and recycling activities and environmental education.

Keep Covington Beautiful is dedicated to the improvement & beautification of the City of Covington. Our major beautification project is planting & maintaining over 130 street-side planters in the downtown area. KCB developed, maintains & plans to expand the Blue Swamp Creek Nature Trail located at the Covington Recreation Complex. Our annual Bogue Falaya River Sweep focuses on removing litter from the river from canoes & kayaks. KCB loans litter cleanup supplies to local organizations & neighborhood groups. KCB provides recycling receptacles for local events through our loan-a-bin program & sponsors an annual Earth Day recycling event. Through its volunteer-based activities & events KCB encourages individuals to take greater responsibility for improving the community.
