Founded in 2012, Kentucky to the World’s mission is to elevate the cultural and intellectual reputations of our Commonwealth on the global stage. We accomplish this by sharing compelling stories of extraordinary people with Kentucky roots, who are shaping our world through their creativity, intellect, and passion.
These stories are shared through live events, television specials, digital content, collectibles, school programs, and other initiatives. Our work showcases how we lead the charge for the narrative development that is vital to our state’s economic and workforce future.
Take a look at what we’ve accomplished over the past 12 years:
IN 2024:
*We are proud to serve as the fiscal agent and premiere co-host for the documentary film, A Pathway Forward. Opening on October 9, this film takes a deep dive into the Central High School Law and Government Magnet Program in West Louisville and their work with U of L Law School to implement the national Street Law program.
It’s a powerful story that celebrates the program’s success in preparing students for careers in law and government, particularly in light of the challenges brought about by recent changes in affirmative action policies.
*We are also proud of our work as the Media Partner for Ken Clay's production, “The Soulful Sounds of Derby Town.” Our established relationships with Kentucky Performing Arts and KET made the recording and airing of this program possible.
*On September 25, our program features Tom O'Connell, stunt double for Darth Vader and the Heavy Mandalorian, for both the Student Program and our main program at The Speed Museum.
*Because we are focused on actively entering the Bowling Green market, on Sept. 27 we are also producing the live program featuring Tom O'Connell at the WKU Innovation Campus, where we are a working partner. Moreover, we are entering a partnership with WKU Gatton Academy for Gifted Students, to bring Tom to their students for a special student program, and we look forward to a growing relationship with the Academy.
