Imagine a classroom where learning is not just about textbooks and tests but about joy, creativity, and self-expression. For the last 25 years, KID smART has been on a mission to engage children and educators in dynamic, creative, and relevant learning through the arts.

KID smART makes schools more joyful and effective places to teach and learn!

KID smART is an arts-in-education initiative that has transformed the lives of over 86,000 students and educators.

Creative Schools, our flagship program, features year-round professional development for teachers and Collaborative Artist Residences (CAR). CAR pairs a KID smART Teaching Artist with a classroom teacher to co-develop engaging arts-integrated lessons that improve overall academic success.

Bloomberg Arts Internship creates career and college readiness pathways for high school students.

ART JAM and BEST FEST are free family arts festivals that engage the community through joyful art-making.
