Kitsap Lake PTA

 WSPTA is the oldest and the largest nonprofit grassroots children’s advocacy association in Washington state. Together we can strengthen our voice to improve the quality of our children’s health, welfare, safety, and education.

Almost everything the PTA does has been impacted by Covid-19.  The way we volunteer, the way we raise money, the opportunities we sponsor ... but it hasn't changed how the PTA advocates for children, families, teachers/staff, and our schools.

Kitsap Lake PTA needs YOUR donations to continue doing what we do ... supporting the needs of Kitsap Lake Elementary children, families, and staff!

Here are some of the things Kitsap Lake PTA has accomplished over the last year with the money from donations and fundraisers...

Kitsap Lake PTA has kept our community engaged and informed through our social media presence during this unprecedented time when we are not allowed to be in the schools and see students and families face to face. We sponsored Kitsap Lake Elementary's 2020 End of the year parking lot parade. We cheered and celebrated students, families, and Kitsap Lake Elementary Staff. We acknowledged the hard work of the dedicated Safety Patrol students with gift cards, since they had to miss out on their annual trip to Wild Waves due to Covid-19. We acknowledged all the 5th graders with a note and handmade candy lei's to celebrate their graduation from elementary school since they didn't get to have a graduation ceremony due to covid-19. We provide grants to staff to fill needs the district does not cover for their classrooms and school as a whole. We have kept the lines of communication open with KLE staff and welcome their input. We advocate and share concerns to the BSD School Board as needed. Prior to March 2020, we sponsored offsite enrichment opportunities for KLE students, staff appreciation, Spirit Wear, testing snacks, honoring outstanding volunteer & educator, Reflections Art Program, health room supplies, family nights, outdoor improvements such as a new soccer goal, and so much more!

Covid-19 has severely impacted our ability to raise funds.  Without YOUR support it will limit our ability to continue to offer all the amazing opportunities listed above and more.   We want to be prepared to meet the needs of Kitsap Lake Elementary children, families, and staff as they arise and the only way we can continue to do that is YOU!
