Kyler Cares Foundation

A nonprofit organization

Kyler Cares Foundation is dedicated to improving health outcomes for people of color living with Type 1 Diabetes. We accomplish this through a multipronged approach, which includes improving access to technology, diabetes education and enhanced BIPOC visibility. We offer a number of programs to accomplish our mission. We provide financial assistance towards continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps, as well as assist patients and their families in navigating the system to obtain these tools

Type 1 diabetes requires ongoing management to maintain healthy glucose levels. As a community-first organization, we prioritize culturally sensitive diabetes education and health coaching tailored to individuals' unique backgrounds and health literacy levels.

Many underserved communities face disparities in diabetes care. By offering responsive education and coaching, we empower individuals to manage their condition, improving health outcomes and quality of life. Addressing barriers to care builds trust, encouraging greater engagement in diabetes management.

To expand our impact, we partner with clinics and hospitals like Ochsner Health and others across the country through our esteemed Medical Advisory Board, as well as national diabetes organizations to ensure resources reach those in need. By working together, we can strengthen support systems and empower individuals to advocate for themselves and their communities. Better health outcomes are possible-and with your help, we can achieve them.
