Kyrene Schools Community Foundation

Mission: To serve and provide resources for children and their families in the Kyrene community.

The Kyrene Foundation advances the mission and vision of the Kyrene School District and is committed to excellence. We work collaboratively with corporations, small business, non-profit organizations, community members, and the Kyrene School District to fund programs, grants, and scholarships to better support our schools teachers, students and families. Our mission is to make sure the needs of all Kyrene students and their families are met. We also provide assistance to teachers and staff, helping to fund initiatives that otherwise would not supported. Examples of our giving initiatives include:
- Scholarships for children to help with costs of community education, after school programs, and athletics
- Signature giving events including Turkey Day and Winter Wonderland, where we provide meals and holiday gifts to families in need
- Mini-grants for teachers to fund classroom initiatives and principal grants to fund school-wide initiatives
- Food and hygiene items for the Kyrene Family Resource Center
- Staff years of service and retirement recognition
- New teacher gift cards to help with classroom expenses
