Louisiana Policy Institute for Children

A nonprofit organization

Our mission is to advance policies to ensure that Louisiana's young children are ready for success in school and in life. We are a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that is a source of data, research, and information for policymakers and stakeholders on issues concerning young children in Louisiana. We seek to inform decision-makers through research, impact the lives of children and families, and raise awareness about early care and education.

For over a decade, the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children (LPIC) has been a driving force in expanding access to high-quality early childhood education across the state. Through research, data, and policy advocacy, we've raised awareness, influenced legislation, and worked to ensure the city prioritized critical investments in early childhood education. Thanks to your support, we've strengthened our efforts to ensure every child in Louisiana has the foundation they deserve to be successful in school and in life.

In New Orleans, early childhood education is a game-changer for children and families-but too many still face barriers to access. Your generosity fuels our fight for increased funding from local governments and businesses, creating more high-quality early learning seats. When children have access to early education, parents can pursue their careers and education-strengthening families and our community. Your donation today will help us continue advocating for policies that expand early childhood education access, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
