Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge

A nonprofit organization

Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge exists to provide youth, adults, and families with an effective residential, biblically based solution to life-controlling problems. Our purpose is to produce graduates who function responsibly and productively in society, and who have healthy relationships in the workplace, family, church and community.

Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge (LAATC) started in the Greater New Orleans area in 1987 and has grown to eight locations across Louisiana. We have campuses for men, women, and women with children. LAATC currently has 170 clients enrolled in our 12-18 month program, where they find hope and freedom from life-controlling issues, such as drug and alcohol addiction.

Testimonials

My name is Haley. The Minden Family Center has been an absolute blessing-not just for me, but for my son, who is two years old. There was a time when I feared losing him to the system, but God made a way for us to stay together. Through His grace and provision, my CPS case was closed, and I have had the privilege of watching my son grow in a safe and loving environment. I have learned how to be the mother God has called me to be, and I have been surrounded by people who genuinely care and support us. Even in my most challenging moments God remained faithful, leading me to a place where I could heal, grow, and walk in His purpose. I know that with Him, the best is yet to come.
