Louisiana Fire Soccer Club

A nonprofit organization

Develop, promote and administer the game of soccer in the Greater New Orleans area, primarily among youth players under 19 years of age (known as youth), and amateur players; Promote soccer and physical fitness for all players through instructional and educational programs designed to meet the needs of all players; Promote the education of players in sportsmanship, leadership, self-confidence and self achievement

The Louisiana Fire Soccer Club is the largest non-profit soccer club in the New Orleans area. The club provides soccer programming to nearly 4,000 children from ages 3 to 19. Our goal is to positively impact the youth of our community through the game of soccer.

Soccer is known worldwide as the beautiful game partially because of the teamwork required to be successful. The game of soccer provides life lessons, such as leadership, hard work, humility in success, and sportsmanship in defeat. It also encourages an active lifestyle, which has numerous health benefits.

The Let Them Play campaign will raise funds to grow the game in the following ways:

• Increase the financial assistance we offer to lower income families

• Provide field access to local public, private, and charter schools

• Launch TOPSoccer, a program that provides soccer clinics to children with disabilities

• Improve our existing fields, including the construction of two turf fields at Lafreniere Park

• Bring additional leagues and tournaments to the area, which will drive economic impact
