Lancaster Science Factory

The Lancaster Science Factory's mission is to inspire kids to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through hands on experimentation and exploration.  In addition to our exhibit hall featuring more than 80 hands-on exhibits, we offer a variety of camps, workshops, and outreach programs designed to get students excited about STEM topics.  The Science Factory is committed to being accessible to everyone in our community, and we offer a variety of need-based access and scholarship programs to make sure that students who need our help the most can take advantage of all the Science Factory has to offer.

• Free field trips for all youth-serving non-profits in Lancaster County
• Free field trips for all School District of Lancaster classrooms
• Free admission to anyone with an EBT/SNAP card and up to 5 guests
• Free admission for Cub and Girl Scouts
• Free First Fridays every month from 5pm-7pm
• Free admission for active duty military and their families during the summer
• Free Pre-K programming
• Hands-on STEM outreach programs at local schools, libraries, and non-profits
• After-school programs in our Maker Space
