Louisiana Shrimp Coalition

A nonprofit organization

Preserving Louisiana’s seafood heritage, one coastal community at a time.

Louisiana Shrimp Coalition
Help us protect Louisiana’s coast, our commercial fishing communities, and the heritage that defines who we are. The Louisiana Shrimp Coalition, founded by members of the Louisiana Shrimp Association, works statewide to support fishermen through community outreach, safety training, regulatory guidance, and disaster response.

We are a proud, sustainable industry built on generations of hard work and the freshest wild‑caught seafood in America. Your GiveNOLA Day gift helps us preserve our culture, strengthen our coastal communities, and keep Louisiana’s commercial fishing tradition alive for future generations.

What We Do

- Advocate on state and federal issues that impact Louisiana’s shrimp industry

- Represent Louisiana’s shrimp harvesters and related small businesses

- Support fishing communities with resources to grow and strengthen their businesses

- Provide outreach, guidance, and assistance to help coastal families move forward

Why Your Gift Matters

Your support strengthens the backbone of Louisiana’s coastal communities. Every donation helps protect our shrimp harvesters, sustain small family businesses, and ensure our fishermen have the resources, training, and advocacy they need to survive in a changing industry. Your gift keeps our coastal heritage alive and helps Louisiana’s fishing families move forward with dignity, opportunity, and hope.

Give today — your support keeps our coast and our communities moving forward.
