The Lancaster County Youth Amateur Hockey League (LCYAHL) understands the importance of educational programs for our youth. Our mission is to provide a safe and challenging environment that promotes skill enhancement, teamwork, and sportsmanship for competitive youth hockey. LCYAHL is dedicated to offering youth development through hockey to the 200+ children in our youth amateur hockey league.
Building renovations and equipment are needed to support our partners as well. Organizations like Millersville University Hockey League depend on our rink for their practices, games/performances and staff support. Your generous donation will support LCYAHL and these community staple organizations as well. Additionally, the ice rink provides a meeting space for families and friends during public skate, as well as a fitness option for homeschooling.
Organizational Background
We have 750 participants (adults and youth) in our programs including youth hockey teams, learn to play clinics, recreational adult hockey, public skating, figure skating, and various other camps and clinics.
Community Impact
Annually, we have approximately 250,000 skaters and spectators walk through our doors and the number is steadily increasing. Our reach stretches across York, Wilkes Barre, and northern Delaware. LCYAHL has a large facility and welcomes visitors of any skill ability.
Need
LCYAHL is in sincere need of equipment upgrades and building renovations. Our facility and much of our hockey gear is outdated. With your help, we can ensure that the youth in our community are taught proper hockey techniques and learn life skills like working with others, active listening, healthy self-esteem practices, and more. Because our facility is now home to so many teams and a community meeting spot, it is crucial that we receive support for this project. Remember LCYAHL on November 18th!

Organizational Background
We have 750 participants in our programs including youth hockey teams, learn to play hockey clinics, recreational adult hockey, public skating, figure skating, and various other camps and clinics. We are happy to announce that we will be adding men’s and women’s hockey leagues to our long list of programs in 2020.
