LEAD First Foundation

The Lead First Foundation addresses a great need by preparing, motivating, and developing area at-risk youth to become leaders in education, achievement, and development.

Lead First is a comprehensive school-wide reform program, primarily for high-poverty schools, with a strong emphasis on early detection and prevention of reading problems before they become serious. The nonprofit LEAD First Foundation is the program provider, supplying materials, training, and professional development to schools that adopt the program. Here at LEAD First, we provide many different programs to provide At-Risk kids with opportunities and skills to improve their lives.

Our Three Programs:
- Back to School Health Fair: make sure the city of Corpus Christi is ready and prepared to go to School
- Leadership Program: help at-risk children with reading and math and, to give them opportunities they may not afford
- Summer Program: help students get ready for the school year and learn basketball
