Welcome To MYC

The Media Youth Center (MYC), located in Media, Pennsylvania provides a safe environment for youth to expand their minds, grow their bodies and have fun. We offer a variety of recreational and educational programs for youth in grades kindergarten through high school. MYC is tradionally known for its year-round competive basketball program, but we off additional sports and educational programming. Youth can participate in Flag Football, The Media Film Initiative, Lego Robotics, classes in foreign language, self defense and Art.

VISION

The vision of the Media Youth Center is to provide a wide array of constructive programs for our youth to explore and enjoy with their family, friends, and neighbors, in a safe environment.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Media Youth Center develops in our children a healthy respect for, and service to, their community, their self-esteem, and their sense of fair play, by providing recreational programs and other learning opportunities using the people and collective resources of the extended Media community.

Founded as the Media Boys Club, today's Media Youth Center offers year-round program that help children develop their athletic, technical, and artistic skills in a community-friendly environment.

Current Programs

Media Youth Center hosts youth basketball leagues, Flag Football, Media Film Initative, Robotics and Art classes for boys and girls from Kindergarten through high school.  

Our Robotics and Art programs continue to grow and evolve.
