Legacy Institute for Financial Empowerment

Legacy Institute for Financial Empowerment (LIFE) exists to improve financial stability and provide workforce development.

LIFE serves individuals and families in East Texas who are 
seeking greater financial independence, career opportunities,
and long-term stability. From young adults to working parents, from aspiring entrepreneurs to career-changers—we meet people where they are, and walk with them toward where they want to go.

Our main program, LIFE Works, consists of three vocational training programs which also serve the community as social enterprises: LIFE Tech (Information Technology), LIFE Build (Carpentry), and LIFE Farms (Food Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Organic Vegetable Farming).

Our service area includes Angelina County, Nacogdoches County, and San Augustine County. We are looking to expand our physical presence into new counties each year, but we are able to serve any prospective client wherever they are through remote meetings.
